Kosher Certification and Distillation Techniques
Since its establishment in 1901, Naruto Kintoki Distillery, a long-established sake distillery, has been passionately devoted to the production of shochu, mirin, and sake in the small town of Ishii-cho, Tokushima, Shikoku. The skills and passion of skilled craftsmen have been poured into the production of pure rice shochu "Mottainai". In order to let people know that this shochu is of the highest quality, safe, and secure, we have obtained kosher certification. Kosher certification is one of the most prestigious food certifications in the world, given only to foods that meet strict Jewish dietary regulations and standards. To receive this certification, all strict requirements must be met, from the production of raw materials, to the manufacturing process of processed products, to storage and packaging.
Recommended way to drink
Brown rice free of pesticides, fertilizers, and herbicides can be enjoyed with peace of mind without the worry of residual pesticides. The blessings of the sun, earth, and water can be tasted because it is naturally grown rice. It has a chewy texture not found in white rice and a rich flavor that allows you to directly feel the bounty of nature.
The appeal of brown rice lies in its high nutritional value. In comparison with white rice, brown rice has 10 times more dietary fiber, 10 times more vitamin B1, and 1.5 to 2 times more potassium, iron, vitamin E, folic acid, calcium, and other nutrients.

Brown rice is highly nutritious, but it can also be bad for your body. In fact, it is not uncommon for pesticides to condense in the bran portion of the rice and be ingested without being noticed. When purchasing brown rice, be sure to choose pesticide-free rice.
